Whether you are lucky enough to spend the day with your mom, or if you’re planning a Mother’s Day from a distance, we’ve got you covered! Here are our top picks:

Watercolor Virtual Workshop with Coach + Colt (May 17 at 7pm). All you have to do is order the recommended supplies off Amazon, get your ticket to the class, and tune in. Tickets are $20 and the class will take place on zoom.

Have brunch delivered! We’ve rounded up some ideas for brunch delivery:

  • Adelska’s Mother’s Day Brunch Box - everything you’ll need to create a gourmet breakfast for a family of 4, and there’s even a special Champagne Brunch Box. Use Code MTNMIMOSAS2020 for $20 off your first purchase!

  • The Kitchen - send mom a delicious, prepared brunch and even a blood mary or mimosa kit!

  • Wander and Graze - have you seen these charcuterie boards? Nothing short of a masterpiece.

Send mom some drinks. This one is fool proof. Vapor Distillery has cocktail kits for pickup and delivery. We tried the old fashions and the pink gin & tonic kits. Both were so delicious and it was really nice to have a GOOD cocktail at home. The Jungle is also selling premixed tiki cocktails that are delicious! Most bars & restaurants are still serving liquor togo, so check in with Mom’s favorite spot.

Virtual wine tasting. This is a fun one - check out our Virtual Wine Tasting blog post to see exactly how to host your own. We used Wander & Ivy wines, which you can get at a lot of local liquor stores. We also like this idea with Bigsby’s Folly wine. They have 500 ml aluminum bottles with a cheat sheet of tasting notes on their website!

Schedule a photoshoot. As of Friday, photographers are allowed to shoot. They can keep a safe distance from you and your loved ones to capture great memories. OR, book an appointment for you and your family for the future. We recommend Kira Whitney Photography. She is based in CO Springs but will come to the Denver/Boulder area and is willing to take $50 off for the first 5 people who mention this blog post!

Send a sweet treat. Woops bakery has some delicious, colorful macarons with unique flavors like honey lavender & espresso macchiato. Deb is able to ship for free anywhere in the US! Call (832) 334-6664 for flavors and to order (box of 9 for $30, or 18 for $52). Another favorite of ours, Shamane’s Bakery, has an assortment of both sweet and savory pastries for pickup or delivery.

Send flowers - support local with a flower delivery from Fiori Flowers (delivery to Boulder, Longmont, and Louisville). I used Fiori as a vendor for my wedding flowers and I can attest they put together some of the most beautiful arrangements! If you live in Denver, we recommend Foliaa. They deliver beautiful plants and pots, with free delivery on orders over $100.

As always, we’d love to hear from you! Let us know your ideas in the comments below.
