Date Night

Looking for a way to spice things up during the week? Start planning your next date night! We’ve included a list of our favorites from special occasion dinners to a casual night out. Let us know your favorite date night spot in the comments below!

Fancy night out

If you’re looking for a special night out, these are definitely the spots to go! We recently dined at Steakhouse 316 and we loved it all - the food, the red leather booths, the cozy, intimate dining experience. Some of the best steak we have ever had, and their Oysters Rockefeller are to die for. Another steakhouse in Boulder, Corrida, provides some of the best views in Boulder (& seriously amazing steak). You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but we’d highly recommend their table-side prepared G&Ts! Check out our full review here. You’ve also probably heard us talk about the Greenbriar Inn. For 50 years, the Greenbriar Inn has been providing a fine dining experience nestled up against the foothills. One of us actually got married there! Needless to say, it tops the list of favorite date night spots.

I wanna dress up but not break the bank

We love going to the Kitchen Upstairs because the lounge is swanky, with chandeliers and a cozy fireplace and they know how to make a mean cocktail. They even have an entire “Prohibition” cocktail menu for a limited time and “Ramen Nights” every Friday-Sunday starting September 27! We also highly recommend the new restaurant on Pearl Street, Pepper the Noshery. We loved everything on the menu, and they have a “date night” menu every Thursday. Date Night includes a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine for $55/couple! In Denver, we’ve been enjoying the Broadway Roxy, which is a super unique bar, restaurant, and music venue. They have a 1920’s ambiance and inspired menu, with live music every night they’re open!

Casual date night

We think the newly opened Topgolf in Thornton is a fun date night idea! Their food and cocktail selections are surprisingly good and it can be as competitive (or not) as you want it to be. We also love Ace Eat Serve as another fun, casual date night spot. Their food is fabulous and they have tons of ping pong tables to get your game on. If you’re looking to play more of a variety of games, Punch Bowl Social has it all! Bowling, arcade games, karaoke, putt putt, you name it. There are Punch Bowl Social locations in Stapleton & Downtown Denver on Broadway!

Just for drinks

We have a few go-tos when it comes to going out for cocktails. The Welton Room has some of the most creative cocktails we’ve ever seen! I mean, cotton candy, fire - we never knew watching cocktails being made could be so fun. You’ll want to sit at the bar to watch the magic! Another favorite is the Bitter Bar, think a mixture of a speakeasy and a neighborhood bar. Located in downtown Boulder, they have a great happy hour (til 8pm) and even some cocktails on draft! We recently stopped in to Run for the Roses at the Dairy Block. Run for the Roses is an underground cocktail lounge and we loved the intimate vibe.
