Hyatt Place Peña Station/Denver Airport

We had an early morning flight (8am eek!) and decided to stay the night at the Hyatt Place Peña Station the night before. The stress of waking up for the flight was totally taken out of the equation, as the hotel shuttle gets ya there in 20 minutes. Plus, it felt like our vacation started early — win win! We wanted to share our experience with you all!

The newly opened Hyatt Place Peña Station has a bar with food and local beer & spirits, a Starbucks, and even a resident Golden Retriever puppy named Denver! It’s located one stop away from DIA on the RTD A-line train. There’s a fitness center (with a Peloton!), an indoor heated pool, and a gaming nook. They have a daily breakfast buffet that is complementary to all Hyatt members (a free loyalty program).

The rooms are comfy and modern and we felt right at home. You can even sign into your Netflix account from the flat screen TV (hello true crime documentaries). Our beds were really comfortable and we even had a pull put couch in the room, so 3-4 people could fit comfortably.

As we mentioned earlier, the hotel offers a free airport shuttle. We arranged for a pickup time the night before, and it was about a 15-20 minute ride to the airport. It was so nice to have this set up the night before, so there were no worries about traveling to the airport day of or figuring out parking. We loved the convenience and even though we live in the Denver area, would definitely do it again if we had an early morning flight or inclement weather (as we did the night before our flight)!
